Gift Card Conditions

Rules for buying, receiving, safeguarding, and using cards.

Effective date
July 13, 2026
Version
2026-07-13
Who it applies to
Merchants, buyers, and recipients

In short

  • The store is issuer and seller; gifty supplies technology.
  • The offer and local law govern value, validity, redemption, and refunds.
  • Keep codes private and report misuse.

1. Issuer and gifty's role

The Merchant shown in store, checkout, receipt, or gift page issues and sells the card and is responsible for offer, funds, products, redemption, refunds, and consumers. APPS 4 SELLERS CORP supplies infrastructure and does not receive purchase funds or assume Merchant debt unless expressly stated.

2. Offer, purchase, and activation

Before purchase, price, face value, currency, validity, channels, restrictions, tax, and refund rules must be disclosed. Activation occurs on confirmed operation and issuance; a pending message is not activation after decline, reversal, or chargeback.

3. Delivery and recipient

Delivery may be immediate/scheduled by email, WhatsApp, link, or another channel. Buyer supplies accurate data and permission. Error may block delivery; Merchant should allow reasonable correction subject to anti-fraud checks.

4. Code, link, and security

A code/link is a bearer credential. Keep it private, verify domains, and report loss, phishing, or misuse. Merchant may block, rotate, or reissue after ownership/balance checks; recovery is not guaranteed after valid third-party redemption before notice.

5. Redemption, balance, and currency

Use is limited to stated store/currency. Full or partial redemption depends on configuration/platform; partial balances decrease on confirmation. Unless law/offer says otherwise, cards are not cash, earn no interest, are not cash- or currency-convertible. Reconciled records and review rights govern discrepancies.

6. Validity and restrictions

Expiry/restrictions must be prominent before purchase and on the gift, and do not apply where prohibited or a longer minimum is required. Disclosed reasonable exclusions may apply; terms cannot retroactively worsen.

7. Cancellations, refunds, and chargebacks

Cancellation/refund follows Merchant policy and consumer law. Returns paid by card must explain balance restoration, replacement, or required method. Original purchase fraud/refund/chargeback may suspend unused value, subject to mandatory good-faith third-party rights.

8. Failures and support

For failed delivery, wrong balance, or redemption error, contact Merchant with proof without publishing the full code. Merchant investigates with gifty/providers. Downtime does not extinguish value; retry or reasonable remedy applies. Gifty may request minimum anti-fraud data.

9. Rights, privacy, and priority

Nothing limits non-waivable consumer rights including information, fair treatment, warranty, withdrawal, or refund. Merchant handles commercial claims. Data follows both privacy notices. Platform: hola@crossup.ai; commercial issue: issuing Merchant.
